CASSCO · Carpentry & joinery
The workshop
Where rough timber and a conversation turn into something you’ll keep for good.
The maker
Run by hand, by Noel Cassidy.
CASSCO is Noel Cassidy’s workshop — a carpenter and joiner making bespoke pieces to order. Everything is drawn, cut, fitted and finished here, then installed clean in the room it was built for.

The way we work
Hand tools where they matter. Timber chosen board by board.
Hand tools
Machines take the heavy, repetitive cuts. The joints that carry a piece — the dovetails, the fitting, the final surface — are cut and pared by hand. That is where the work earns its life.
Timber
Every board is chosen for the job — grain read, movement allowed for, defects worked around rather than hidden. Solid timber where it counts, honest sheet material where it is the better answer.
The guarantee
If a joint we cut ever fails, we put it right. A piece from this workshop is built to outlast the room it was made for — and to be handed on when it does.

Measured twice. Cut once.
Made to be kept.
What you can count on
Three things, on every job.

Made to last
Solid stock and real joinery, not glue and hope. A piece leaves the bench meant to be handed on, not replaced.

Priced honestly
One clear, itemised quote — the timber, the work, the timeline. What we agree at the start is what you pay at the end.

Finished by hand
Planed, pared and finished by hand until the surface is right. The last ten per cent is where a piece lives or dies.
